Telegram Bot

Liquidity cards, depth reads and alerts in Telegram with @clobr_alerts_bot.

Overview

@clobr_alerts_bot (shown as "CLOBr" in Telegram) shows you where the liquidity is. Send /clobr BONK and it replies with a chart and liquidity card. It also sends your CLOBr alerts, either to your DM or to a group or channel you pick.

Anyone can use the card and depth commands. Linking your CLOBr account is only needed for alerts and for live data on Premium.

Quick Start

  1. Open the bot. Search for @clobr_alerts_bot in Telegram and tap Start.
  2. Link your account. Go to clobr.io/alerts and click Connect Telegram. The bot sends you a DM. Send /start with the one-time code. This ties your Telegram to your CLOBr account.
  3. Ask for a token. Send /clobr SOL, a name, or a token address. The card arrives in a few seconds.

The Chart Card

/clobr <ticker, name or address> replies with one image and a short caption. The image shows:

  • 15 minute candles for the last 24 hours
  • Support, resistance and constant-product depth bars next to the chart
  • CLOBr Score and organic volume
  • Holders and liquidity
  • Sell size that moves the price down 5%
  • Top 10 holders
  • A link to the token on CLOBr

Majors like BTC, ETH and SOL get a major card, with depth measured at 0.1% from the price. An exact major ticker always wins, so /clobr SOL returns the major. To get a different token with the same ticker, paste its address.

In a group the bot only answers commands. It stays silent on ordinary messages and on commands it does not know.

Add the Bot to a Group

  1. Open your group, tap the group name, then Add Member, and pick @clobr_alerts_bot.
  2. The bot posts a short hello. From then on anyone in the group can send /clobr <token>.

The bot does not need admin rights to answer commands. There is no limit on how many groups it can join. Each group has its own daily card allowance, listed in the table below.

Sponsor a Group with Premium

When a Premium account links a group (see the next section), every member of that group gets live cards. This is called sponsoring the group. You do not need to pay for each member.

  • A sponsored group gets up to 200 live cards per UTC day, and at most 3 per minute.
  • Cards in a sponsored group are labelled "Live (sponsored)".
  • If the sponsor's Premium ends, the bot posts one line saying live cards are paused. The group goes back to the free allowance. When Premium comes back, the bot posts one line saying live cards are back.
  • If you pass the 200 a day, the group falls back to the free allowance until 00:00 UTC.

Alerts to a Group or Channel

Your alerts go to your DM by default. In the Telegram panel on clobr.io/alerts you can send them to your DM, to one linked group or channel, or to both. You can link one group or channel per account.

Link a group

  1. Link your account first (Quick Start, step 2).
  2. Add the bot to the group.
  3. A group admin sends /link in the group. The admin must be the person who linked their CLOBr account.

You can also use a code: get one on clobr.io/alerts and send /link <code> in the group. The sender still has to be a group admin.

Link a channel

  1. Add the bot to the channel as an admin with permission to post messages.
  2. Get a one-time code on clobr.io/alerts.
  3. Post /link <code> in the channel.

Codes last 15 minutes and work once.

What to expect

  • Alerts posted in a group or channel end with a small clobr.io footer.
  • Billing notices always go to your DM, never to a group.
  • If you remove the bot from the chat, or it loses the right to post, it unlinks the chat. Your alerts go back to your DM and the bot DMs you to say so.
  • To move alerts to a different chat, disconnect on clobr.io/alerts or remove the bot from the old chat, then run /link in the new one.

Free vs Premium

SituationCardsLimit
Premium user, account linkedLive, in DM and in any groupNo daily limit
Group sponsored by a Premium accountLive for everyone in the group200 per day, 3 per minute
Any other group3 live cards per UTC day, then 1 hour delayed with a limited depth range3 per minute
Free user in a DM1 hour delayed, limited depth range5 per UTC day

Daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC. A request that finds no token does not use up a card. The caption on each card says whether it is live, how many free live cards the group has left, or that it is delayed.

Privacy

  • Privacy mode is on. In a group the bot only sees commands sent to it. It never sees ordinary group messages.
  • Linking stores your Telegram chat ID and username against your CLOBr account, so alerts and Premium checks work.
  • Unlink any time: remove the bot from a group or channel, or disconnect Telegram on clobr.io/alerts.

Troubleshooting

The bot can't join my group or channel

  • Telegram lets only admins add members in some groups. Ask an admin to add the bot or to allow members to add users.
  • For a channel, an admin must add the bot as an admin with permission to post messages.

"Your clobr bot is already set up for another channel"

  • Each account can link one group or channel.
  • Remove the bot from the other chat, or disconnect it on clobr.io/alerts, then run /link again.

My cards are delayed

  • Delayed cards are 1 hour old. You get them when you are not Premium and the group is not sponsored, or when the group has used its 3 free live cards for the day.
  • If you are Premium, check that your Telegram is linked. Run /status in a DM with the bot. If it says the account is not linked, repeat step 2 of the Quick Start.
  • In a group you sponsor, make sure the account that linked it is still on Premium.

The link code or /link does not work

  • Codes last 15 minutes and work once. Get a fresh code on clobr.io/alerts.
  • Send /start <code> in a private chat with the bot, not in a group.
  • /link in a group works only for a group admin. If the bot says it does not know your account, link your account first or use a code.
  • /link does nothing in a private chat. Run it in the group or channel.

The bot says it could not find the token

  • Check the spelling, or paste the token address. An address always picks one specific token.

The bot does not answer in my group

  • It only answers commands. Send /clobr <token>.
  • A group can pull 3 cards per minute. Extra commands in the same minute get no reply. Wait a minute and try again.
